Gynecologic oncology is a branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancers of the female reproductive system, including the cervix (cervical cancer), uterus (endometrial cancer), ovaries, vagina, and external genital organs (vulva).
A physician specializing in this field is called a gynecologic oncologist. They diagnose and treat the following conditions:

ovarian masses, including malignant tumors;

non-epithelial malignant ovarian tumors;

Main areas of gynecologic oncology:
Cervical Cancer – often associated with the human papillomavirus (HPV);
Endometrial Cancer (Cancer of the Uterine Body) – more common in women after menopause;
Ovarian Cancer – may develop without noticeable symptoms and is sometimes diagnosed at an advanced stage;
Vaginal and Vulvar Cancer – less common, but can be serious.
Disease prevention:
HPV vaccination (reduces the risk of cervical cancer);
Regular Pap tests (Pap smears) for early detection;
Ultrasound, biopsy, and other screening and diagnostic methods.
Treatment Methods:
Surgery – removal of the tumor;
Chemotherapy – medications used to destroy or inhibit the growth of cancer cells;
Radiation Therapy (Radiotherapy) – treatment of tumors using radiation;
Immunotherapy and Hormonal Therapy – used in certain cases.
Symptoms of Gynecologic Cancers:
