Types of surgery

• Maxillary sinusotomy — the procedure is performed through the existing opening of the maxillary sinus. This procedure is prescribed for patients with chronic maxillary sinusitis, cysts, polyps, various fungal infections and other pathological formations in the sinus.

• Polysinusotomy — the procedure is performed simultaneously on both sides of the sinuses, including the maxillary, frontal, sphenoid sinuses and the ethmoid labyrinth. It is often performed in cases of polypous rhinosinusitis.

• Maxilloethmoidotomy — performed for chronic sinusitis (purulent or polypous). The scope of the procedure is more extensive than in the previous type.
